Rabbi Marvin Hier: "This Chanukah, ... do what our ancestors did on Chanukah – respond to our enemies." Act Now!
This has been a tough year for the Jewish people and the State of Israel. Anti-Semitism is rampant in Europe and around the world. Thousands of Hamas rockets were fired into the heartland of Israel. Terrorist attacks were launched throughout the country. And, Israel is condemned for responding!
Chanukah is upon us and that reminds us of the Maccabees. What was their greatness? They acted! That is what we must do now — act!
Five European Parliaments have unilaterally passed resolutions recognizing Palestine, irrespective of their refusal to negotiate with Israel – there is something you can do about this.
Nearly ten thousand people have already signed our petition to those same five parliaments asking them to pass resolutions demanding that Hamas revoke its anti-Semitic charter that says in part, “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just like it obliterated other before it… [Jews] they control the world media…stirred revolutions…were behind the French revolution, the communist revolution, World War I and World War II through which they made huge financial gains….”
This Chanukah, in addition to lighting the candles and saying the prayers, don’t forget to do what our ancestors did on Chanukah – respond to our enemies. Get your friends and family to sign the petition. We need 50,000 signatures, which we will be sending to the European parliaments by the end of Chanukah.
Wishing you and your family a Happy Chanukah,
