Violence in Jerusalem, Consul General Aharoni

Following this week's attack by Palestinian terrorists which killed 5 people and injured many more, we appreciate the statements from President Obama, Secretary Kerry, members of Congress and the United Nations Security Council in the support for the families and in condemning the despicable terrorist attack. We remember Rabbi Aryeh Kupinsky, Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Goldberg, Rabbi Kalman Levine, Rabbi Moshe Twersky, and Master Sgt. Zidan Saif.
Baruch Dayan Emet - may their memories be for a blessing.

Prime Minister Netanyahu Calls on Palestinians to End Incitement

"The world watches this massacre but does not demand that Palestinians stop their incitement against Israel, which is the root of this violence. I expect to hear that very same uncompromising condemnation."

"We are in the middle of a wave of terror attacks ... Those animals that committed this massacre came with great hatred ... against the Jewish people and the state ... The Hamas movement and the Palestinian Authority disseminate libels against the state of Israel. Their lies have taken a price in lives."

"What is most shocking is not just this massacre, but the cries of joy in Gaza and Bethlehem."
"Citizens of Israel I call upon you to be alert, abide by the law. We will repay all those terrorists ... but nobody, nobody must take the law into their own hands, even during a storm or when the blood boils."
"We need national unity at this time."
